Solicitation Policy
*effective February, 2014

Gig Harbor Lacrosse Association is proud to be a registered 501(c) 3, not-for-profit organization. As such, we recognize that from time to time there may be members of our club that volunteer as a coach, assistant coach, team manager or other members within the club that also have interest in developing businesses, teams, clubs or organizations outside of the scope of Gig Harbor Lacrosse Association (GHLA).  In the interest of keeping true to our mission the following rules have been established.

1. Solicitation of any kind by any individual, business or organization that has not been previously approved in writing by the Board of Directors is prohibited at any and all GHLA sponsored functions and events.

1. GHLA prohibits the use of our club system, rosters or directories for purposes of solicitation.  Those that have access to this information are forbidden to use the information in anyway outside of normal GHLA communication and the information made available is to remain confidential and for the sole purpose of GHLA related business.

1. GHLA does not solicit sponsorships for our program.  From time to time we may elect to bring outside businesses, clubs, or other organizations into an event.  These limited types of support or sponsorship must be approved in writing by the Board of Directors prior to involvement at any level.

*Failure to adhere to these rules will result in disciplinary actions up to and including immediate dismissal from GHLA as a player, member, coach or volunteer.
